A referral can involve intake information, questions from providers, separate reviews, and practical arrangements for getting there. When those steps happen across disconnected calls and paperwork, it can be hard to see what comes next.

We’re building Firstep Health to help referral and admissions teams coordinate that process: start with one intake, share it with selected providers, and keep the next steps in view.

Starting with a focused problem.

Our initial focus is residential treatment for substance use disorders. We’re learning from the people who handle referrals and admissions so that the workflow reflects their day-to-day work.

Firstep Health is still in development. We’re working toward a more coherent experience for the people coordinating a referral, from the first exchange of information through the handoff.
